Lismard Press is an independent Irish imprint publishing fiction under the pen name Rowan Q. Lorne.
It exists to give house-room to stories shaped by place, memory, atmosphere, and the quieter thresholds of human experience. These books stand apart from Michael McFarland Campbell’s writing on church life, hymnody, and healthcare, making space for a different voice and a different imaginative world.
The press begins with The Proximity Cycle, a sequence of three books to be published annually in 2026, 2027, and 2028, beginning with The Quiet Proximity.
A second strand of work, The Icicle Lounge, will follow in the autumn.
