A NeuroDivine Rosary for Hospital

A Christ-centred companion for prayer at the bedside

A quiet companion for the uncertain hours of hospital life.

NeuroDivine Rosary for Hospital is a gentle collection of prayers for times of illness, treatment, waiting, fear, and rest.

Written for moments when words may be difficult to find, it brings the ordinary realities of hospital life into the presence of Christ through simple prayers, repeated responses, and five short mysteries.

Whether used by someone receiving treatment, resting in a hospital bed, waiting for results, or keeping watch beside someone they love, the rosary is designed to be prayed slowly and without pressure.

There is no need to complete it all. Begin where you are. Pray what you can.

Five Mysteries for Hospital Life

The rosary moves through five experiences familiar to many people during illness and treatment:

  • Christ in the Body — bringing weakness, pain, and the vulnerability of the body into prayer
  • Christ in the Waiting — for results awaited, decisions not yet made, and hours that pass slowly
  • Christ in Those Who Care — giving thanks for those whose skill and kindness are offered in care
  • Christ in the Fear — bringing anxiety and uncertainty honestly into the presence of Christ
  • Christ in the Rest — asking for quiet, sleep, and peace when body and mind are weary

Each mystery includes a simple prayer on the large bead and a short repeated response for the ten smaller beads.

A Prayer Around the Room

The mysteries also include a simple prayer asking the angels of God to keep watch at the four corners of the room.

As each mystery is prayed, another corner is entrusted to God, until the final mystery gathers the prayer together:

Holy angels of God,
keep watch at the four corners of this room.

It is a small way of turning an unfamiliar hospital room into a place held within prayer.

When Even a Rosary Feels Too Much

The book also contains a Short NeuroDivine Rosary for the Hospital.

On every bead, just one prayer is repeated:

Jesus, remember me
when you come into your kingdom.

Bead by bead.
Breath by breath.

It is offered for those moments when tiredness, pain, medication, anxiety, or simple exhaustion make longer prayer difficult.

Designed for the Bedside

The book is produced in a compact Pocketbook format with spiral binding.

The spiral binding allows it to lie flat, making it easier to use in bed, during treatment, beside a hospital chair, or when only one hand is free.

Its full-colour illustrations accompany each of the five mysteries, while the spacious layout and short prayers are intended to remain clear and accessible even when concentration is limited.

A Quiet Companion

This is not a book about finding the right words or praying perfectly.

It is a book for staying with Christ in the reality of the moment:

in the body,
in the waiting,
in those who care,
in fear,
and in rest.

Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.
